Technique 7 - Shifting Positions
This is Lesson 7 in a 10-part series on Proper Mandolin Technique and in this lesson, we’ll look at Shifting Positions. This is the act of moving our hand around the neck, taking us away from our normal position (1st position) and back again. We'll look at the theory behind the different positions and we'll discuss how a position shift should sound (hint: it shouldn't sound of anything :-) ).
