A lesson for Beginner & Intermediate mandolin players on the Irish ballad called 'Star of the County Down'. This has been covered many times over the years, I have based my version off the Van Morrions/Chieftains arrangement. In the lesson, we'll start with a basic version of the tune & chords for beginner players. Then, we'll have a look at an intermediate version with some discussion on the theory behind what key we're in, a harder melody and some harder chords.
