This is a lesson for beginner & intermediate mandolin players on how to play the beautiful song 'Lara's Waltz' from the 1965 film Doctor Zhivago. Although a modern piece, this has been accepted into the classical Italian style repertoire so this piece will test your tremolo skills as well as some finger twisting phrases. We'll go through the melody in it's different sections and finish with a full play through the tune.
